i've been wanting to address this annoyance for a while. its about feedback--not in general but for things like..the shit I make for people, especially commissions.
Can I just say that it's actually really kind of rude to just..not say anything about the picture I worked on for you? I don't expect much, usually just a thank you will suffice but if it doesn't look the way you want, PLEASE TELL ME. I will not freak the fuck out--I will RE-DO it for you! I keep my art files for at least a year until I delete them, so when I post or give you your picture I usually still have it until I clean out my mom's computer near the end of the year.

I really think it's worse for a commission, because I've had more than one case of me sending a finished commission note only to check the next day and the note was opened and..that's it. Nothing. It's ESPECIALLY essential for me to get commission feedback so I would know that you got what the hell you paid for.

Maybe you might have your own reasons--maybe you checked it and forgot to say anything because you were busy or things along those lines. I get that. But how am I supposed to know?? No response just automatically makes me feel like shit, like I fucked up lmao. I'm almost tempted to just respond the next time someone does that to me. It pisses me off.

And I know others have had this problem too. And it's really sad. The least you could do, if you comment on nothing else, is comment on something that was made for you.
